The torque spring plays an important role in tuning the variator. It carries out the back pressure to the rear transducer and thus has considerable influence on the switching behavior of the variator. The counter-pressure spring needs to be strengthened when the belt tends to slip , the variator is not uniform interconnected to the power or speed of the motor , despite moderate weights still running below the performance speed. By replacing the torque spring must be readjusted to the variator .
