Description
The torque spring plays an important role in tuning the variator. It carries out the back pressure to the rear transducer and thus has considerable influence on the switching behavior of the Vario . The torque spring should be enhanced when the belt tends to slip , the variator not uniformly connected to the power or speed of the motor , despite moderate weights still running below the performance speed . By replacing the torque spring , the variator be readjusted. Since the switching behavior is negatively affected when twisted contrast springs , creating the Polini EVO Slider plastic plates remedy . The counter-pressure spring is thus not directly to the coupling, whereby the distortion is reduced to a minimum. Furthermore, the vibrations of the transducer unit may be reduced at high speed. The result is an improved shifting and a quieter running engine. The thicker the diameter , the harder is the torque spring .
