Description

The current version of the NARAKU counter-pressure spring uses a modified alloy of the spring steel and has a special marking of the spring type.
A change becomes necessary as soon as the performance increases due to a tuning measure. Noticeable by slipping V-belts or non-turning motors. The counter-pressure spring is always closely related to the variomatic. If another spring is mounted, this affects the shifting behavior of the variomatic. Unlike other manufacturers, NARAKU springs indicate the speed shift at which the variomatic interconnects if the rollers in the Vario are not changed. This enables a much more precise selection of the right spring than a percentage. A 1500 spring allows the Vario to change its translation approx. 1500 rpm later.
