Modern street machines are exposed to extreme loads, which is why the development of XW-ring chains became necessary. The XW-ring features six sealing points and two stabilizers that prevent the ring from twisting under extreme load. This avoids the loss of lubricant under all conditions and extends the life of the chain by up to 50% compared to a conventional O-ring chain.

Selecting the Right Chain Lock

Clip locks can easily be installed independently in the garage / workshop. Depending on the power of the motorcycle, however, these should be subsequently riveted by a specialist. Manufacturers recommend clip locks only for motorcycles up to 600 ccm or 50 PS. A riveting tool is required for the installation of rivet locks. Alternatively, installation should take place in a workshop. For endless chains, the swingarm must be removed for installation.
