The Pinasco VRX carburettors are based on the Dellorto / Spaco SI carburettors, but have been specially improved for Pinasco tuned engines!

The SI carburettors often cause the problem that the fuel supply is not sufficient, the engine emaciates or even runs out at full throttle. In the worst case, even a piston clamp can result from the emaciated gasoline-air mixture! Therefore, Pinasco equips its SI carburettor with the larger float chamber of the Cosa models, which have a larger flow hole and a larger seat of the float needle! The spring-loaded float needle prevents great wear on the delicate rubberized needle tip, which is responsible for the seal.

The through-bore / connection between the nozzle block and the float chamber has been enlarged and also contributes to a permanently safe fuel supply.

Version without separate lubrication!

Just through these modifications, the Pinasco carburettor is the ideal companion for powerful tour setups that are operated with a highly-sucking resonance exhaust. The carburetor is also an ideal complement to the currently available road and box systems, which in their peak performance are in no way inferior to many resonance systems.

The supplied CNC-milled intake funnel ensures a better air supply by a better flow behavior of the intake air. The screws for the attachment of the funnel are inserted with a screw lock. With the hopper mounted, the carburetor fits well into the Lusso carburettor tub. PX Old models should use the Pinasco Airbox because of the larger volume. The intake funnel does not cover the nozzles! Please take this into account when spraying.

New Type SI carburettors are manufactured under license from Spaco in India. Piaggio has also been using this for a number of years in serial production. Qualitatively we could not tell the Dellorto carburetors any difference. They go through a quality control at Dellorto and are often also packed in its cardboard boxes!
