Description

Malossi Carbon Reed Valve Plates – faster throttle response & more security for your original reed valve block

These Malossi Carbon reed valve petals / reed valve plates are intended as a replacement for the original reed valve block. Many stock reed valve blocks are equipped from the factory with steel sheet plates – and these exactly can noticeably slow down the engine: steel generally does not open and close as quickly as carbon, which often has a negative effect on throttle response.

The second major point is security: when a steel plate breaks, it ends in 99% of cases with engine damage. Carbon provides a remedy here – with a pleasant side effect: the engine feels noticeably more agile and the risk of engine damage is almost eliminated. Should a carbon reed valve actually become defective, the parts usually simply disappear into the exhaust.
