The pulleys are very important components on a Vespa! Whether gas, brake, shift or clutch - everything is controlled by cable. Therefore the trains should also be regularly maintained. A torn train is annoying - usually it happens on the road on a tour if you have no substitute! Therefore the tip for all Vespa riders: Whether in the glove compartment or for the garage at home, have a few spare trains in stock can never hurt!
In order to spare the search for the right gear for the whole scooter, we offer high quality and complete cable kits for your Vespa! Depending on the model, they are either 7- or 8-piece and equipped with a self-lubricating PTFE outer sheath.
Tip: Exchange the frayed rope pulls in time before it comes to the crack! Set a few millimeters of cable pull (according to the manufacturer's instructions). Even too tightly running trains can quickly break!
Do not lubricate pulleys with PTFE outer casing with creep oils! For this purpose, there are extra dry lubricants based on PTFE.
