Description
Variable tuning set for original variatik and almost all tuning variators. The speed-up discs can influence the length of the variomatic sleeve: an extension usually improves acceleration and a shortening increases the final speed. Before mounting, please measure the length of the original sleeve and then change the size of the speed-up sleeve accordingly with the help of the washers!
The kit contains the open racing variomatic sleeve and 15 spacers, 5 discs each with 0.1, 0.2 and 0.5 mm thickness. Dimensions of the sleeve 13x18x37mm.
When used in tuning variators, please measure the outer diameter of the installed sleeve beforehand. This should be 18mm.
For Minarelli engines, the tuning set can affect the function of the kickstarter pinion. A sharp shortening must be compensated by inserting the discs behind the variomatic.
