Description
Brake shoe set with grooved friction surface. The grooves prevent excessive brake dust accumulation, which, as with conventional brake shoes, leads to glazing and thus reduces brake performance. In the event of water ingress during prolonged rainy journeys, the braking effect remains constant due to the grooved surface.
The friction material is slightly softer than in reinforced brake shoes. However, especially under normal operating conditions, this results in higher friction coefficients and thus better brake response. The scope of delivery includes a set of brake shoe springs.
Dimensions of the friction material: 110mm x 25mm
Generally, the set is to be used for the rear brake. However, in the following models, the shoes are mounted on the front = F or front/rear = F/R:
