Description

The brake lever from Highsider SMART is made of aluminum in the dimensions of the original part and is adjustable in grip reach. It replaces the stock lever one-to-one; an ABE is included with the lever.

Via the adjustment, the distance between the lever and the grip can be adapted to the hand size, which noticeably shortens the access to the brake for small hands. The lever geometry follows the original part, so that the pressure point and braking effect remain unchanged.

Assembly and Application Notes

  • The stock lever is loosened at the pivot pin and the replacement lever is inserted in the same place. Then the grip reach is adjusted. After assembly, the ease of movement, pressure point, and the function of the brake light switch must be checked.
