The laser-cut Galfer DF807JCW brake disc of the WAVE® series offers maximum performance and quality. Galfer WAVE® brake discs are manufactured from robust AISI 420 stainless steel, which is characterised by a very high carbon content, thereby preventing corrosion of the brake disc. The disc hub is made from high-quality aluminium (7075 T6 / 6082 T6).

The WAVE® FLOATECH ROAD is the ideal brake disc for everyday road use. It combines the DNA of motor racing with a high level of comfort, durability and consistent performance. Thanks to the patented pin-and-washer system, it reduces noise and vibration, improves the braking feel and ensures a more precise response. The controlled floating action of the disc guarantees perfect alignment and minimal wear. Even under high thermal stress, it delivers stable, consistent braking performance - from city traffic to winding mountain roads.

Using vehicle data such as weight, speed, brake caliper position and intended use of the vehicle, the WAVE® brake discs are optimally tailored to each vehicle.

• Fully controllable braking pressure
• Improved brake response
• Controlled ‘floating’
• High floatability and freer wheel rotation
• High comfort, durability and consistent performance
• Noise and vibration reduction
• Improved braking feel, more precise response
• Consistent braking performance under high thermal loads

The Galfer brake discs approved in accordance with ECE R90 are approved as replacements for the respective OEM brake discs and can be installed on the vehicle without any additional registration or modifications, provided that they are approved for the specific vehicle model.
