The laser-cut Galfer DF499RW brake disc of the WAVE® series offers maximum performance and quality. Galfer WAVE® brake discs are manufactured from robust AISI 420 stainless steel, which is characterised by a very high carbon content, thereby preventing corrosion of the brake disc. Galfer’s rigid brake discs deliver solid performance in a one-piece, maintenance-free design. The distinctive WAVE® profile ensures better cooling, even pad wear and high braking stability - even under heavy use.

GROOVED stands for specially milled grooves in the brake surface. These grooves ensure effective dissipation of heat, gases and dirt, significantly reducing the risk of fading and keeping the pads consistently clean. This enables even braking performance, precise response and maximum control.

Using vehicle data such as weight, speed, brake caliper position and intended use of the vehicle, the WAVE® brake discs are optimally tailored to each vehicle.
