New screw type from BGM PRO with practical hexagonal head

• Replaces the conventional internal hex screw for carburetor mounting on Vespa PX models from 1984 (PX Lusso, My, 2011, Cosa)

• Also suitable for mounting a Malossi/Polini/Pinasco rotary valve intake manifold

• Can also be used as a replacement for the studs/nuts for carburetor mounting on earlier Vespa Largeframe models with rotary valve intake. These include engines of the VNB, VBA, VBB, VNC, VBC, Sprint, Rally, GT, GTR, TS, GL models

ADVANTAGES OF THE BGM PRO STUD BOLT:

• HEXAGONAL HEAD INSTEAD OF ALLEN

  The BGM PRO stud bolt has a conventional hexagonal head with a wrench size of 11. This means the screw can be operated with the same tool as used elsewhere on the engine (M7 with SW=11). This eliminates the internal hex screw as used by Piaggio originally on vehicles from approx. 1984.
  This makes the BGM PRO stud bolt much more practical in the workshop.
  Due to the slightly slimmer head, the screw also fits the aftermarket intake manifolds from Polini, Malossi or Pinasco.

• SHORTER STUD LENGTH
  In addition to the better screw head, the BGM PRO stud bolt also has a minimally reduced insertion length. This makes it significantly safer in use than the internal hex screw from Piaggio.
  The BGM PRO stud bolt protects the rotary valve sealing surface, which sits directly below the insertion thread in the engine block. If one of the two washers/retaining rings is forgotten when using the original Piaggio screw, the end of the screw exerts pressure on the sealing surface. With the approx. 1.5mm shorter BGM PRO screw, you are always on the safe side here.
