Description

BGM Pro special crankshaft bearing with narrow shoulder width for Vespa wideframe engines

These bearings should be used if the high-quality Corteco shaft seals are to be installed at the same time. The Corteco shaft sealing rings have a larger material thickness than the conventional shaft sealing ring carriers (0.8 mm instead of 0.5 mm sheet thickness). The narrower bearing shoulders of BGM PRO bearings compensate for the larger sheet metal dimensions and prevent the bearings from sitting tight in the housing. The crankshaft can therefore be assembled as specified at the factory.
