Description
he Italian-based tuning forge Polini is already in its 2nd family generation and has been very well known since the beginning of the scooter tuning era. Whether high-end cylinders of the highest quality such as the Evolution series, exhaust systems, sophisticated sports variators for maxi-scooters or the new, self-developed carburettor series - Polini is a state-of-the-art company with its own production lines and stands for the very highest quality and performance, made in Italy! Before tuning parts go into production, they are extensively checked, tested and improved to the very last detail! Not least in our own Polini Scooter Cup!
The V-belt is the link between the variator and the rear converter unit. The more engine power there is, the greater the demands on the belt. Especially with open or even 70cc engines, which run at a higher speed level than standard 50cc engines, the V-belt is also subject to greater wear. To prevent the belt from breaking prematurely, you should always use a reinforced belt! This is the only way to get the engine power reliably onto the road.
The belts are aramid-reinforced and offer another advantage in addition to the high load capacity: The angle of the flanks is designed to match the tuning variators in order to be able to produce the cleanest possible shifting behaviour without speed fluctuations.
