Description
The Italian tuning company Polini is now in its 2nd generation of family ownership and has been very well-known since the beginning of scooter tuning. Whether high-end cylinders of the highest quality such as the Evolution series, exhaust systems, sophisticated sports variators for maxi-scooters, or the new, self-developed carburetor series – Polini is a state-of-the-art company with its own production lines and stands for the highest quality and performance, made in Italy! Before tuning parts go into production, they are extensively tested, checked and improved to perfection! Not least in the Polini Scooter Cup!
The drive belt is the connecting link between the variator and the rear transmission unit. The more engine power that is applied, the more the belt is stressed. Especially with open or even 70ccm engines, which run at a higher RPM level than standard 50cc engines, the drive belt is also subject to increased wear. To prevent premature tearing of the belt, a reinforced belt should definitely be used! This is the only way to reliably transfer the gained engine power to the road.
The belts are Aramid-reinforced and offer another advantage in addition to their high load capacity: The angle of the flanks is designed to match the tuning variators, in order to create the cleanest possible shifting behaviour without RPM fluctuations.
