The Italy-based tuning forge Polini is already in the second family generation and is since the beginning of the roller tuning time very well-known. The V-belt is the binding link between the variator and the rear converter unit. The higher the engine power, the higher the belt is required. Especially in heavy Maxiscooters, the V-belt is subject to higher wear. To avoid premature cracking of the belt, you should always use a reinforced belt as soon as you have done some small tuning work on the engine! But also as an exchange part to the original V-belt are the reinforced polini belts absolutely!
The belts are aramid-reinforced and offer a further advantage besides the high load-bearing capacity: the angle of the flanks is adapted to the Polini tuning variators, in order to be able to produce as clean a shifting behavior as possible without fluctuations in speed. Therefore to every Polini Sportvivomatik recommended!
