The crankshaft bearings allow the crankshaft in our engine to rotate.
At an engine speed of 8000 — 10000 revolutions per minute (or more...) one
can quickly imagine what such a small bearing does in its life in motion.

A set of fresh crankshaft bearings is indispensable when installing a new crankshaft!
Or, however, if the old after a high mileage due to normal wear play show (crankshaft clearance in the bearing).

These are high-quality crankshaft bearings! These bearings are extremely durable and can therefore be used for original or tuned motors!

Please pay attention to correct installation. Extreme cleanliness and proper tools are important here.
So that nothing goes wrong, we also have cleaners and special sealant for the crankcase in our assortment!

Instructions for installation:

Heat the bearing seat of the housing half sufficiently with a hot air dryer, insert crankshaft bearings into the heavily heated bearing seat of the engine housing without tilting. At the second half of the case as well. Then gently heat the inner ring of the bearing in the large half of the case. The crankshaft can now be inserted into the bearing. After applying the sealant (in some engines a paper seal is needed instead of the sealant) on the sealing surface of the small motor half, the inner ring of the bearing is heated sufficiently there. Now the small housing half is mounted on the large one. Tighten the housing screws crosswise (to avoid a misunderstood one) and let it cool down.

In order for the crankshaft to run relaxed in the bearings, it is imperative to use a copper hammer to administer a settling blow to the shaft on the left and right. The shaft must now rotate and run smoothly in the bearings, the connecting rod should unload. Only then insert the shaft seals.

Bearing the crankshaft is not a witchcraft, if you take some time and work thoroughly, you can certainly do that!
