The Aprilia Original Variator Kit is an original Piaggio spare part (OEM) for the Aprilia SR 50 with Aprilia proprietary engine (water cooling, from year 2000). The assembly includes the centrifugal clutch, clutch unit, compression spring, and variator halves as a complete, ready-to-install unit for the 107 mm clutch bell.

The variator kit performs two functions in the CVT transmission of the Aprilia SR 50: as the variable belt track partner of the front variator, it controls the stepless gear ratio adjustment; as an integrated centrifugal clutch, it establishes power connection from a defined speed. The inner diameter of the clutch bell (107 mm) is the decisive fitting parameter - this must be checked on the vehicle before purchase.

Not compatible with SR 50 models with Minarelli engine. Assembly and Application Notes:

• The variator kit is inserted as a complete assembly into the vehicle-side clutch bell and secured via the central nut. After installation, the V-belt tension must be checked and the response behavior of the clutch must be monitored during the first test drive.
