A defective alternator is annoying – but no cause for concern. RMS offers very high-quality replacement alternators in OEM quality at a fair price! The alternators match the original parts in terms of performance.

A defect in the armature plate can certainly creep in with age. If the spark is missing or the battery no longer charges despite an intact voltage regulator, the alternator should be tested to identify a defect.
