The Highsider complete conversion set contains all required components for the full conversion of the Kawasaki Z 900 (Year 2017-2026) to bar end mirrors, sequential LED turn signals, and a vehicle-specific license plate holder with license plate lighting. All Highsider components are E-approved. The load-independent MXT relay is required for the operation of the LED turn signals and is included in the set.

Important Note:

• The MXT relay is designed as a universal relay - before installation, the compatibility with the vehicle-side connection (2-pin, also fits 3-pin plugs) on the vehicle must be checked.
• The cover caps (M10) must be checked for compatibility with the original mirror mounts of the Z 900 before purchase.

The four STS-1 turn signals are intended for two installation positions: the two rear turn signals are mounted on the adjustable turn signal arms of the Akron-RS PRO, and the two front turn signals are fixed in the existing fairing openings using the Indy Spacer shims. The load-independent MXT relay stabilizes the flashing frequency regardless of the total resistance of the connected turn signals and is designed for 1-100 W.

Vehicle and Model Compatibility:

• The set is assembled vehicle-specifically for the Kawasaki Z 900 of the model years 2017 to 2026 - the Akron-RS PRO license plate holder and the bar end weights are Z-900-specific. Victory mirrors and STS-1 turn signals are universal for motorcycles with corresponding connections. Before purchase, cover caps M10 must be checked for compatibility with the original mirror mounts and the MXT relay for connection compatibility on the vehicle. If side reflectors are installed on the original holder, these must be repositioned after the conversion.

Assembly and Application Notes:

• Recommended assembly sequence:
  • (1) Mount Akron-RS PRO at original mounting points, hook rear STS-1 turn signals onto turn signal arms.
  • (2) Remove original bar end weights, insert Highsider bar end weights with suitable reducer (7/8 inch or 1 inch), screw on Victory mirrors.
  • (3) Insert cover caps into M10 mirror mounts.
  • (4) Mount front STS-1 turn signals in the fairing openings with Indy Spacers.
  • (5) Replace original turn signal relay with MXT relay.
  • (6) Check all connections for secure fit, adjust license plate tilt and turn signal position to the legally required position.

• Before purchase, the vehicle model and year (Kawasaki Z 900, Year 2017-2026), the compatibility of the cover caps (M10 mirror mount), the connection principle of the MXT relay, and existing side reflectors on the original holder must be checked.
