Description
This motor housing for the Puch Mofa E50 engine offers numerous benefits that can improve your driving performance. It has an enlarged sealing surface in the area of the cylinder base, which ensures a better seal. The housing screws are slightly offset outwards, leaving more space for larger overflows. A prepared surface for GME intake systems is available, and dowel pins ensure secure positioning when assembling the housing halves. Additional threads allow for more flexible ignition installation. XL cooling fins in the lower area improve temperature dissipation, which reduces wear on the crankshaft bearings. Note that there is no stand mount, but there are 3 M6 threads at the original distance. The housing is approved in all SAM Mofa-Racing and Mofacross categories. Cylinder stud hole pattern: 44 x 44mm. Ø cylinder neck: 48.4 mm (spindable up to 53.0 mm without GME). Installation tips: Use at least a 2mm thick intake gasket when installing with original intake components and an SRE carburettor to avoid contact with the GME block. With the included shims, various transmission wheels can be cleanly distanced. Before assembly, check that the transmission wheel has averaged out cleanly. The following screw lengths are to be used: 7 M6 x 35 mm and 6 M6 x 50 mm. Screws are not included
