With a 13-inch diameter and approved tyre sizes up to 140mm width, the rim offers an optical and technical upgrade for all Vespa GTS models. Despite the larger dimensions (standard 12 inches), the rim is a real lightweight at only 2900 grams.

RIDING CHARACTERISTICS
With 13 inches and a tyre size of 130/60-13 on the front wheel and 140/60-13 on the rear wheel, the handling feels significantly more composed. The direct response to steering impulses provides agile handling with maximum directional stability in corners.

APPEARANCE & BRAKE PERFORMANCE
The light and open design provides a clear view of the braking system. Modified brake components are clearly highlighted and the cooling of the braking system is optimized.

APPROVAL / ABE / TÜV
The rim has passed and exceeded all strict test standards necessary for approval in Germany. Therefore, according to BGM, the high-strength rim is also an ideal basis for vehicles with significantly increased performance. Thanks to the KBA test mark, the rim is approval-free and does not have to be presented separately to a testing centre.

INSTALLATION
Unlike the rims used as standard, the BGM PRO rims are identical for the front and rear. They therefore have different depths for the mounting screw holes. For this reason, shorter screws (M8x35mm) are used on the front axle. On the rear wheel, the ABS tone ring is not screwed directly onto the rim, but (as with earlier GTS models as standard) onto the special wheel screws. We provide mounting kits for the rear and front respectively, which contain all the specific fasteners. These are only included in the complete wheel set (front and rear). The BGM PRO rims are manufactured with high precision and therefore do not require balancing. Balancing may be necessary depending on the tyre, once the tyre has been fitted. Our complete wheels are delivered balanced.

SC TIP: Tyre manufacturers usually mark the lightest point of the tyre with a colour marking (red or yellow point, yellow triangle etc.). This marking should be positioned at the valve position during installation. This reduces the necessary amount of balancing weight to a minimum.
