Un ensanchador de soporte aumenta la superficie de apoyo del caballete lateral y puede facilitar así el estacionamiento de la motocicleta en superficies blandas o irregulares. Se coloca en el caballete lateral existente y favorece su estabilidad segura al estacionar.
