The YSS Mono shock absorber is a hydraulic oil-pressure shock absorber with adjustable spring preload and a progressive damping characteristic for the rear installation position. The spring preload is adjustable in 5 detent positions. The shock absorber is delivered with ABE and is available as a single shock absorber. The adjustment tool is included in the scope of delivery.

The combination of a progressive spring characteristic (25-35) and 5-stage adjustable spring preload allows the shock absorber to be adapted to different loading conditions without removal. The progressive characteristic ensures softer damping at low load and increasing counter-force during stronger compression.

• The shock absorber is designed for scooters from various manufacturers with a rear single shock absorber mount - including Aprilia (SR 50, Gulliver, Rally, Scarabeo, Sonic), Benelli 491 models, Kymco (Dink, Super 9, Vitality, Yager, YUP, Top Boy), MBK Flipper 50, Peugeot (Speedfight 3 and 4) as well as Yamaha Why 50. Mounting and application instructions:

• The shock absorber is mounted at the upper eye mount (10 mm) and the lower fork mount (20 mm). After installation, the spring preload should be adjusted to the driver's weight and the usual loading condition using the included adjustment tool. After assembly, the suspension travel must be checked for smooth operation and a play-free fit of both mounts.
