Pinasco engine housing -2. Series- for Vespa PX!

After Piaggio's production stop for new engine housings, there is now a rescue! Pinasco - now in second series with small modifications - produces new, own engine housings for all PX models. Four different types are available: the empty housing for 125-150cc and 200cc as a "master" version with original rotary valve inlet or as a "slave" version ready for installation and operation with a membrane!

For further tuning, all Pinasco housings are equipped with ample material on the transfer channels, so that they can be adapted to the respective cylinder kits. The 125/150 housing is delivered with a 5mm spacer for the use of 200 crankshafts with 110mm connecting rod and a conversion piston pin bearing. This allows the available tuning cylinder kits of the "small" large-frame class with the large long-stroke shafts. On the clutch side there was also enough material, so that welding and breaking / subsequent cold metal versions are a thing of the past.

The aluminum cast of the new housings convinces us on the whole line! Many are still aware of the sometimes enormous casting voids and poor sealing surfaces of Piaggio's latest OE housings. Something like this is not found in the Pinasco housing. Clean deburring, high quality cast iron - very good pass accuracy!

Pinasco has also integrated various braces in critical areas to ensure maximum durability with high-performance conversions. All housings are prepared for electric starters and must also be operated with the Elestart fan cover.

On the other hand, something has happened on the side of the bearings: the alternator side now has the stable bearing of the Vespa T5 and has been provided with a lubrication hole . All available ignition base plates can be mounted. Otherwise, the design of the motors corresponds to the PX motors with an external shaft sealing ring for the drive shaft so that these components can be taken over easily!

SLAVE housing type PX 125-150, with centric inlet via crank crank, without separate lubrication. Including intake manifold and diaphragm block (4-valve diaphragm in the measure of the well-known RD350 diaphragm, intake manifold rotatable!). The scope of supply includes stuffer, all seals for the engine and gearshift lever, stud bolts, silencers for swingarm and shock absorbers. The intake manifold is designed for use with the Dellorto PHBH 28/30 / VHS 24-30 / or Mikuni TMX 27/30 and Keihin PWK 28/30 carburettors.
