De Yasuni Axial Variomatic is speciaal ontwikkeld voor Piaggio 50 tweetaktmotoren van na 1998. Het past onder andere op modellen zoals Aprilia SR 50 LC, Derbi Atlantis 2-takt 50 AC, Gilera Runner 50 SP en Piaggio NRG 50 Power LC. Deze Variomatic wordt gekenmerkt door een innovatief CVT-transmissiesysteem dat is ontwikkeld en gepatenteerd door Yasuni. De variator zorgt voor een directe overdracht van het motorvermogen naar het wiel, wat resulteert in optimale prestaties. Vooral de verschillen in constructie en gebruikte materialen zijn opmerkelijk. De CNC-gefreesde behuizing is gemaakt van aluminium uit de 6000-serie en heeft een keramische coating. De centrale glasvezelaansluiting (B32) is exclusief en gepatenteerd, wat de wrijving aanzienlijk vermindert. De glijvingers zijn gemaakt van hoogtechnologisch plastic met molybdeen.
